Since the trust was originally scheduled to dissolve this April, I believe they need to extend the date in order to continue pursuing recoveries. Either they feel confident in getting more money out of Melinidas and friends, or the attorneys still have more funds they can bill for before wrapping this thing up.

It's also possible they just need to extend it since they expect disbursements to take until end of this year. Seems like an awful big buffer to add though just to complete disbursements.

The litigation trust (the “Litigation Trust”) established pursuant to the Joint Plan of Reorganization of Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. and Its Debtor Affiliates Pursuant to Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code, dated March 22, 2019 [ECF No. 503-1] (the “Plan”),2 hereby files this motion (the “Motion”) seeking entry of an order, substantially in the form attached hereto as Exhibit B (the “Proposed Order”), extending the termination date (the “Termination Date”) of the Litigation Trust for two years from April 3, 2024 through and including April 3, 2026.

The termination date is extended until April 3, 2026 due to no objection

I never handled a bankruptcy case so I really do not know bankruptcy at all. I think the Termination date is when the assets are distributed. This is a motion to extend the termination date requesting it be extended because no one opposed.

If you were assigned YOOES number thru your brokerage and was still holding shares before trading stopped you are eligible for a payout even if you didn't file a claim, well at least that was what I was told by the the number that is listed on this forum.

behzadzorro, True as you say. However I believe, that those who settled for the latest Settlement will not be eligible for any future Claims.. So this latest Class Action Suit will probably want to cast a net as wide as possible so that there will not be anymore Claims in the future.. Those that did File a Claim would hope that only a few did File a Claim. --, so that there Claims would be larger,. In my opinion . GLTA

As you noticed it is really vast range.
It looks dreamy ,but don’t forget many many share holders trade share after the due date and this number is huge.
So which means 53M shares is not the source and not correct number for dividend.
I believe maybe more than %50 of shares traded after due date even more.
I remember last four days before the shot down trade people was selling and buying crazy and all those guys are not include in reimbursement.
Also we know still some estates from the company owner( I believe his name is Mislenadis)are investigating by law and court ,so that amount also maybe adds on our reimbursement.

Yes Joe these Dockets are not for the faint of heart, since we're not insiders. Never the less-- they are good to have, so that we can have all the information that is available to us, as possible.. Yes, the Class Action Suit is over. The Suit was done by the Utah Retirement Systems. However the Litigation Trust still has eight and half million available,, that they can pursue more money for us. The Litigation Trust went into details why they wanted to extend the Litigation Trust for two more years. I figure they can disturb or have enough dirt on the former Aegean Management and Owners -{with eight and a half million}- that another Settlement is possible.. GLTA}

That’s basically what these Epic posts say.
It appears that they are petitioning the court
for an extension. I will try to figure out how to send them to the board. Nobody responds to them but I’ll try to figure it out.
I’ve been sending them from for years to this board
My understanding was that the case was
Closed/settled
A number was agreed on by both sides
They are just in the process of figuring out how many shares are left and actually qualify for payouts.
At this point how can an extension be valid.
I have called the Aegean Settlement phone number and it appears that they are cleaning things up.
These Epic Posts totally took me by surprise.
If anyone could shed some light please offer up some expertise.
I’m sure everyone here would appreciate it.

Joe, thanks for bringing the Dockets to our attention. Noticed that the 3rd Quarter Litigation Trust Report was filed November 14, 2023 and they still have about eight and a half million to work with. What I found interesting --- was that the Litigation Trust is requesting, a Court extension {from April 2024 to April 2026} against the former Aegean Marine Petroleum Network, Inc-- Management... Which to me, means that the Litigation Trust, believes they still have worthy Claims to pursue...Overall the Dockets are a long read for someone that is interested.. Also as noted on this board, we are still waiting for the closure of the Utah Retirement Class Action payouts ..GLTA

Girl I spoke to stated that disbursement typically wouldn’t be until a year after the settlement date
which was 9/20/2023.
Unless something magical happens we aren’t seeing a penny until after the summer, which really sucks.

You’re right,but it is just the calm weather before the storm.
We are waiting for pay day.
It definitely will be this year and we just don’t know how much per share has been set up for paying.
Could be around 0.60 to $2.
You can call and ask if you don’t know your name is in paying list or not.
Check a few message before and find the phone number.

I finally got non answers to my basic questions:

- As not all claims have been completely processed we are unable to advise as to the number of outstanding shares currently.
- At this time the total legal costs cannot be provided as we are still in the process of processing claims. The attorney fees and expenses can be found in the below listed court documents on the case site.

10.19.23 - Final Judgement and Order or Dismissal with Prejudice Regarding Dimitris Melissanidis
9.14.23 - Notice of Lead Counsel's Motion for Attorneys' Fees and Reimbursement of Litigation Expenses

Total recovery is still in process.
