Hi Sam

"I suggest we layoff"

I agree to agree with you. :8-) Sometimes I use absurdity in order to drive home a point and in my doing so will many times appear to be brash. (did I say appear? <g>) I apologize to you.

I have to say that Matt's vision that you are seeing played out on this forum takes some getting use to. It is so hard for most of us, including myself, to shake the mentality of ultimate authority that we were used to on SI.

I openly admit to have been privately and politely corrected by Matt when I misunderstood CoB. Once I finally did understand it fully it made perfect sense.

Think of IHUB as the United States. In this country we have the ultimate authority called the federal government. (IH Admin)

The IHUB federal government has set up a constitution called (TOU).

In the case of SI you had at one time Bob being the single policeman acting to govern the entire SI community, a task that even Bob will likely admit was near impossible to do. I’m sure his workload was huge.

Here at IHUB just as SI or any forum you cannot get all people to agree on TOU so Matt has allowed his so called United States to also have sub governing powers.

Think of each thread as a single state (CoB) and it's Chairman as the state governor who has governing powers over that thread. Think of the Chairman's directors the cabinet members who share in governing the thread.

Each Chairman (state) can set up his/her own set of TOU as long as they fall within IHUB's TOU. Indeed a chairman can delete a post if it violates the Chairman's TOU, which has to follow IHUB TOU.

When properly applied this takes a huge workload off of Bob because the Chairmen do much of the work that Bob was doing on SI. Bob is still the ultimate authority but now he does not have to deal with as many issues because they can be dealt with at the thread level.

A director or chairman can remove a post, a chairman can remove a director, and a chairman can be removed or replaced by Bob. See how easy it is to compare the sharing of governing IHUB to our own USA?

Everyone is accountable for their actions and I have found that it is the few who don't like IHUB share one or both of the following two things.

1- They don't like to be held accountable or dislike authority.

2- They truly don't understand what Cob is as I have described above and do not bother to read and understand IHUB TOU and the CoB concept within TOU.

My stock related post: The NASDAQ seems to be forming a short term top as it fell through short term support yesterday.
