Steve – Oh yeah – I made back quite a bit and then some. I haven’t done that bad in the past either with MMTIF, it is usually the case to accumulate when it is dead and then sell the pop – even though it isn’t a bad strategy here, I hope this time we can see more sustained upward movement.
I have read through the presentation, but I did not go to the meeting. If you have questions about the $171M just give them a call, I have over the years in the past, very friendly people.
I am most excited about the Chip in Automotive Oil Pan Plug technology – we are looking at +$300M there potentially –
The product portfolio on page 15-16 of the annual has them advancing many products to “Phase 4” this year – which is their way of saying “we don’t expect to have a commercial product till AT LEAST 2015”, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see significant stock price increases this year if they actually are able to partner and advance the tech towards commercialization like they plan…I would venture to say that if they are successful, now would be the time to be buying the stock, not afterwards...
In the past, unfortunately, things have fallen apart and for one reason or another and they were never able to get to the commercialization phase with their tech(whether it be keyboards or most recently with the GSI Westwind debacle). The deal announced with Northeast Utilities is very promising, however, and an encouraging sign – hopefully a precursor to more to come….
My hope is that they sign an exclusivity deal with an oil producer or car manufacturer and can announce who that is afterwards - that kind of "legitimacy" cannot be understated when seeking large investors...
