that is true for the past and taking profits on runs is textbook.

what I don't think you understand is their business model...

They have losses because the CEO expenses everything he owns and everything he does to the business (it's boarder line theft but he is good at it). The other reason is because in the past they have high R&D expenses to develop 1st Detect with no income (from 1st detect) to offset.

So you have minimal revenue from space operations (if it was stand alone it would be profitable). But it's not stand alone. The expenses are much greater than the lunch money revenue space operations can cover.

Seems like a horrible business right?

But here is the reason that most investors are in here... when 1st Detect starts selling products, the revenue will start to grow at an exponential rate. The revenue & profits should grow to 100s of millions per year. Which will cover years and years of losses.

As a business man you got to ask yourself one question. Can you accept losing a few million for a few years in order to make multi millions in the future?

you are either a 9-5, work til your 65 kinda of guy or you have a bigger and better vision.
