This is why following this board is sometimes more amusing than informative.

Read the marquest fund newsletters and you will see that they very strongly believe in the future of Explor. They exercised their rights in a similar offering back in 2012. I will not go through all the points why they love the TPW property because you can read it for yourself on their website. Those that have invested in marquest funds get monthly newsletters where they discuss the various investments. They aren't quitting on Explor any time soon.
In XS why don't you mail them and ask if you can get the latest update they have on Explor?
It isn't disclosed on the TSX website but I would be surprised if the Dec 24 private placement wasn't Marquest.

There is one very good reason to invest in Explor that I don't remember anyone raising on this board. Explor has one of the lowest finding costs in the region. For every 10 dollars spent on drilling they get 1 oz of gold. That is a very good figure. In other words raising 10 million through an offering would result in 1 million ounces more gold.
Despite In XS saying the money has been badly spent it seems like it would be the exact opposite.
