Alterra will continue to look at other profitable solar opportunities in 2014



Hey, that's terrible.

Regularly people who should know better declare that solar and/or wind can replace fossil fuels.

Can't.

Solar and wind are sometime things. Alterra's geothermal is baseload power, the ultimate baseload ("always on") power.

Alterra's run of river power is a kind of in-between intermittent power - reasonably predictable but not always available.

Should one avoid fads and fake science?

- Not if profit is your goal. The world's oldest profession is still profitable though not always applauded.
