That PR about a ferry service using the Ionian Queen is just as false as all of Peter's other press releases. VDSC has no money to buy or charter it. I wouldn't be surprised if there is no new website by tomorrow either.

As of 9/27/13 the Ionian Queen was still reported to be laid up and under arrest by its crew in Patra. It's also been for sale since 2012 with no takers. They have auctions for it every couple of months. There was one in July and one on 9/10/13.

Since 2012 this noble ferry is laying up in old port of Patras for sale, but so far unsuccessfull. Nevertheless there are rumours, she could be sold/chartered to Florida in the near future. It´s a pity !
