Indeed that was the case. In the second of those two charts (AIM-HI), the green bars indicate the amount of cash and there were four occasions when that had dropped to zero. The way I have the spreadsheet that created those charts set is to not buy shares if there's no cash to cover the purchase of shares and a dot is shown on the red share price line to reflect that. A dot is also shown however if a Vealie occurred (AIM indicated sell trade but no actual shares sold, only PC updated as per Vealie rules).

So even though AIM HI was out of cash for some periods when AIM was indicating to buy more shares, the overall outcome was still reasonable.
