Hello Buy-Ford-Now. Good to hear from you.

This board "Cancer" has a lot of great information you and your wife should consider reading and watching.

IMO, chemo and radiation are really bad and I don't think I would Ever consider going down that road if I were to get cancer.

I'm really sorry to hear your wife has cancer and also really happy to hear she has it under control.
Take care and I'll pray for your wife . . . and you!

Stay in touch!
Sincerely,

http://www.doctorshealthpress.com/cancer-articles/groundbreaking-announcement-on-vitamin-d

Last Friday, the Canadian Cancer Society took a major step and said that all adults should start taking vitamin D every day. It is the first time that a significant health organization has fully endorsed the use of this nutrient in cancer prevention. A large number of studies have investigated this ability of vitamin D, yet the Society’s advice is likely spurred by new findings out of the U.S.

Researchers there have discovered that vitamin D supplements slash your risk of cancer by as much as 60%. That, all experts agree, is a huge number.

With the spotlight constantly on calcium, vitamin D–an equally important nutrient–often gets forgotten even though it holds a lot of weight in the maintenance of our good health.
Unfortunately, in our society, the focus has been firmly set upon calcium, which is found in milk and other places, in keeping our bones strong and preventing osteoporosis. But, as the results of a surprising new study have indicated, we are missing the boat on vitamin D. And it deserves some major mention, in fact, almost as much as calcium, because without it your body won’t even absorb calcium! People can chug back all the milk they want, but if they have low levels of vitamin D that calcium isn’t going anywhere.

How to Stay Safe with Vitamin D

In the past few years, researchers all over the world have found that vitamin D deficiency is common. It affects about one billion people, and at least half of all older adults in the United States. Vitamin D is an import tool in disease prevention and, in the past decade, it has proven to be possibly natural medicine’s best tool for cancer protection.
