I'll tell you the answer. It's a scam. They're using scam sites to boost their traffic stats to make it seem like people are visiting the site when they aren't. Qtrax is a scam. Questionable businesses on the Internet do this sort of trickery all the time to try and make themselves appear more legitimate to outsiders.

It's also quite amusing how after I posted something critical about Qtrax on this forum (after it was inactive for more than a month) that there is an almost immediate reply from someone trying to persuade people otherwise. Coincidence? I doubt it.
