You forgot about the reverse stock split which was 1 for 12 NOT 12 for 1

So your pefered shares which were 200 shares for each perfered did NOT become 2400 shares ( and certainly not 2800 shares ) but became 200 / 12 or 16.666666 which they rounded up to 17 sh / perfered
