Antonio B. Castillo has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector and in the Oil & Gas Industry, achieving positions from Director of International Markets, General Director, Principal, CFO to CEO, for financial institutions and consulting firms in México, London, Hawaii, La Jolla, New York, and Texas. He was previously President and CEO at Avan Consultants, LLC, of Houston, a financial consulting firm serving the Oil & Gas Industry. Avan provides financial consulting for a select clientele having contracts with Pemex, PDVSA, Petrobras, Petro Ecuador and other major petroleum industry concerns.
Mr. Castillo's expertise with procurement in the Oil & Gas Industry is extensive, including directional drilling, completion, mines, minerals, sand and chemicals. His portfolio of clients and contacts is worldwide. During his time working for ARCAM, an International Intermediary Financial Company, his personal portfolio of investors was worth $175 million. Under Mr. Castillo's direction, most of this portfolio was placed in petroleum industry equities. Jarvex, using the same portfolio of investors, funded many projects for developers in the city of Houston, Texas.
Mr. Castillo was educated at the Universidad del Norte in México, where he studied Business Administration. He also was educated at UCSD in La Jolla, California where he studied Finance. He is bilingual (English, Spanish), Bicultural (Anglo, Hispanic), and has a dual nationality (American, Mexican).
