Instead of calling companies like IDCC NPE'S why not designate them as charitable institutions who spend millions developing patents that enhance products and then they are to donate that technology to manufactures so they can make huge profits.

I guess the thought of actually having to pay a company that makes your product better and no one forced you to use it is a totally repulsive idea. Everyone knows that the developers of patents do it for fun and charity and donate all their patents to manufactures.

What a stupid concept this is and I do not remotely understand how any company could think they are entitled to just up and use someone elses patents and not pay. They used the patents voluntarily as no one made them use them, they CHOSE to use them because it made their product better and more able to sell, otherwise they would never use the technology.

Its kind of like a restaraunt stealing your cattle and butchering them and cooking them and selling the meal. No one made them take your cattle they did it voluntarily to make more money. Do you think any court would allow this to happen and tell the rancher you don't have a restaraunt and cook and sell meals hence you should donate your cattle.
