OMG, I WAS JUST SITTING HERE WATCHING THE LOCAL DC NEWS AND SEEING THE MESS RIGHT OVER WHERE WE LIVE AND BOOM, OUR WINDOW BLEW IN, AND FELL THROUGH THE BLINDS.
i thought the whole wall was coming in. its not horrible until the bigger gusts come, and i about had a heart attack when that happened.
we figured out that the window was not locked properly when someone was helping me to clean the huge double hung windows a couple months back. they are large and hard to lock right.. so, we just checked all the others and 3 more were like that.
they are locked now.. yipes.
now my adrenalin is through the roof. i think its time for a little rum and diet pepsi. anyone care to join me? my nerves are shot and its supposed to get much worse later tonight. sigh.
