Nightly Topic: Why are my Posts deleted on Boards?

We all know it is frustrating getting Posts deleted here on the Boards especially after writing a lengthy one only to see it removed. Hopefully this Post will help out so that does not happen in the future. Trust me I too am guilty of having mine deleted here and there on a daily basis. It happens.

Generally Posts are deleted for being off topic, being vulgar, being a personal attack and lastly due to the author of it actually requesting it be removed.

Posts that are off topic are generally those when one is making off topic comments that in general have nothing to do with the company. Pretty self explanatory. One of the biggest reasons why Posts get deleted is one attacks a specific group. Generally when the words like "Basher" or "Pumper" are within Posts they will almost always be removed as that is a Post being written toward a specific group which is in violations of Ihubs Terms of Service (TOS). Sometimes one can just get around using those terms by using words such as "People being gloomful" or "Ones that negate" etc. Those Posts generally will stay up. It is just targeting a specific group that causes a deletion.

Obviously Posts that are vulgar and personally attack others with profanity are subject to immediate removal.

Should a person on a Board have a large amount of removals; generally the Adms will restrict that Poster to a specific amount of Posts per day on the Board. If one is totally out of line some may actually get a total restriction and will be unable to Post on a specific Board. If it gets to a point where one is totally out of line the Adm's may place that Poster in Ihub jail for a period of a few days up to a couple years which means you are pretty much done posting.

Bottom line is respect others however hard it is. We all know that both negativity and positivity is allowed on the Boards. It is tough to read negativity when you might be invested in a specific stock. Keep in mind you can respond to those negative Posts but just do so not to attack the poster directly and your Post should be well within the TOS.

Next nightly Topic will be Monday evening.
