I don't know anyone who isn't waiting for NMGL financials to be released which would, or should, show their exact status with the dividend process including those interest payments to which you refer, along with their progress in purchasing the remaining interests in Bouse & South Copperstone.
Oops, I stand corrected since there are a few shareholders who claim that revealing such critical details would play directly into the hands of shorty...which is rather silly since shorty is supposedly already trapped, correct? Seems stories like that are never consistent.
Of course, NMGL did file Form 15 that would have allowed them to keep all such info to themselves...never a shareholder friendly action. In the real world, the needs of shareholders always take precedence over fears of what shorty might do...and I'm pretty sure that the SEC completely agrees.
No, I'm 100% sure since there are no exception to filing requirements based on possible NSS activity. That imaginative condition only exists on penny stock message boards.
You are also correct that an immediate dividend distribution would reveal any and all short positions which begs the question: why hasn't FFGO done that by now if that is truly their plan? Would you be happy with just the announced dividend? Or are you willing to wait for years while additional negotiations are made for all those huge assessed NSS penalties that I keep reading about?
Just keep asking questions like that...but good luck getting any answers from the companies involved.
