UTX sells three units of Hamilton Sunstrand to private-equity group for $3.5B:

The Hamilton Sundstrand units in the sale are three separate units. The Sundyne unit makes pumps and compressors used in refineries and chemical plants; Milton Roy supplies metering pumps for oil and gas, chemicals and water treatment operations; and Sullair manufactures compressors for pneumatic tools and industrial equipment.

This is part of the planned divestiture to help pay for UTX’s $16.5B acquisition of GR.
