Evidently he was very convincing. Most of his followers were inexperienced and naive. He had an easy job. But he didn't seem to plan ahead. What was the outcome for all these stocks supposed to be? And didn't it ever occur to him that he'd be caught?
I only wish the regulators would take a greater interest in OTC shenanigans, but they have a lot on their plate.
