A poster made a "claim" that he/she was threatened several times by people that had ties to the company on the stock board.

I "quoted" the poster, and asked if he/she got the threat in writing. Instead of posting proof the poster likely removed his/her own post (the poster is a mod).

Is it considered off topic to ask if he/she removed their own post that made claims about people with ties to the company? Or would the post itself have been off topic and likely the reason for being removed?

I know you don't pre-approve, just a general question.
