Haven't gotten to RMNP yet. The highway from Colorado Springs to Denver was a mess, stop and go, lightening flashing, thunder rolling, rain pouring down (and God knows Colorado needs this rain -- they banned all fireworks on the Fourth statewide due to fire danger and no campfires allowed in the parks plus smokers can only indulge their habit inside their vehicles). I finally gave up driving with the rain streaming down and visibility low and pulled into Wally World in Denver and went to sleep. On to RMNP this morning. Still raining. . .
