Actually, the Gold Star claims are not directly on Copper Basin Road - you need to take a smaller road to the left, very soon after starting on the Copper Basin Road after leaving Skull Valley. There is a big gate you have to swing open before driving through. The claims are about half a mile up that road (shown as 4WD Road on the topo).
