Wow, big lesson learned this morning and thanks paulgmx1 for heads up. I will henceforth keep a very close eye on ex-div dates. The dislocation this morning caused me so much confusion that I really screwed up my long entry.

Below are the values of the TA's for different times and symbols. I would have taken the IWM signal at 1pm anyday. Both TA were just under the trigger points. but with two nice up bars following a giant red sell of bar, I would have taken that signal any day.

But look at the TA's for UWM at 12. Stoc was a buy and rsi was very close. This is a trigger in my book.

For my records I am going to adjust IWM up by .38 for the close of short, which is very valid since it really did get paid for IWM holders. And I am going to show the long entry at 12pm where it should have been. Unfortunately I did not wake up to what was happening until 1pm. Only a 23 tick hit, so not the end of the world.

IWM-1 UWM-1 UMW-12
stoc 18.90 23.03 20.13
rsi 39.87 43.07 39.51
