Parkinson worked his way up through the corporate ranks of independent film studios, becoming President of A.I.P. (1989 – 1991) and President / C.E.O. of Hemdale Home Video and Hemdale Communications, Inc., a NASDAQ traded company (1991 – 1996). Parkinson has provided marketing and distribution consultation services for more than 800 releases, including work on titles for release through MGM, Columbia-Tri-Star, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, CBS and The Discovery Channel.
