RE Helmet Production - There were some prototype helmets produced early last year if my recollection on the time frame is correct and at least one was used in a demonstration.
The following info is in the sticky notes. . .Some time late last year on one of my visits to the Drexell plant, I asked Andrew about them, since there had not been any PR's or other reports for 4-5 months about them. Andrew said that the prototypes were a bit heavier than the Army's requirements, so there was no additional prototypes or production made.
Some time ago I was told that there is some new development work on helmets, but nothing much is being said about what, where, when, or how regarding them. When/if something happens, I'm confident we'll hear some details
