I believe that Greenman pointed this out once. If you are going by the daily short sales list - it's possible that trades took place that were not covered which would make them show up on the daily short sale list.

But they have something like 5 days to cover and it's not something that they announce. The most reliable record is the bi-monthly short list which you can find at a place like this:

there are also links available via otcbb, etc. I do like to watch the daily short sale list http://regsho.finra.org/regsho-Index.html
- note head down to the "ORF" files, pick a date and scroll to your stock (alphabetical order) especially if I see unusual volumes or MM's that haven't been around and are sellers. It can be an indicator but the reliable info is that bi-monthly list.

At 63k shares, I wouldn't be too concerned.
