total net claims were $7.948 billion, (see here: http://www.kccllc.net/documents/8817600/8817600120326000000000002.pdf ) and total distributions so far are $6.792 billion. That leaves about $1.156 billion remaining to be paid, with only $940MM in cash available.

Still about $216MM out of the money for equity as it stands today, not counting costs not yet incurred by the trust... better than the $340MM it was projected to be a month or two ago. (Cancellation of disputed claims or additional litigation proceeds notwithstanding.)

My shares are free if the LTIs to equity reach about $200MM, which is only $416MM from where we are right now... so that's the number I'm rooting for :)
