Here is my third and final post for the day.
Shiva called me back shortly after I left him a voicemail. When I asked him about the GM conference he told me that it went as well as he could have hoped. There were 120+ GM's from around the world at the conference and they were all able to test the Tivus system. Every sponsor at the conference was assigned to a Host executive for assistance and Shiva was assigned to the Senior VP of IT, who he has an ongoing relationship with because of the Philly installation. So, he spent time with this VP and the host GM's talking about his system. Shiva said that they were all extremely impressed. He also said that the VP of sales for LNET couldn't believe what Shiva was doing and said the system was "beautiful."
Shiva has always told me how he hates his financial predicament and this conversation was no different. He needs money to pay attorneys and personel, along with funding the up list. He has never lied about needing money, he's just never been forward with when or how financing is going to happen. Sometimes I wonder if he even knows when or how the money will come in. I get the feeling that he is taking any offers because he needs money so badly. For all I know he's being told by his funders that they won't sell, and then they do it anyway. I believe, to him the dilution and financing at this point is outweighed by the pending developments and future growth. My guess is that we will be seeing VERT for a while. No way to know what kind of deals will be around the corner for him, but Tivus needs money to continue as they wait on the contract. These are my opinions and words, not his.
I would like to tell you more, but for now that is all I can say. I will say that a major PR will be coming soon, how soon I don't know. I will say that it MAY relate to what you said about shrinking the company down. Maybe it's not shrinking. I will also say that you should be looking for a late filing. He may not have a clue about financing and accounting, but he is far busier that you can imagine. He filled me in on his schedule and it makes this board and the PPS seem like nothing. I know he's not lying about his schedule. What he told me only validates what I learned in Philly.
