not true - there is too much carbo in this for most bodybuilders - runners are another story - if you drink too much of this stuff it will make you fat and smooth, especially for an older builder like myself. why do you think whey proteins use aspertame for sweetner?? - they are trying to keep the carbs down. most whey proteins have about 2 or 3 grams carbs per 30 grams protein! i like to control my carbs with slow burning complex carbs from veggies and such - this stuff is all simple carbohydrate - sugar!!, fast burning garbage - lets face this stuff has to taste good for it to sell to the general public, that's why the sugar is added to make it taste like a milk shake - that doesn't mean its good for building lean muscle.
