Time Warner Fails to Hit a Deal with MSG; No more MSG Sports for New York Cable.................Members of Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) opened up their eyes on New Year’s morning and found out that the sports channels MSG Network and MSG+ were not present on their cable TV listings.

The New York cable firm stated that fans might miss games including the New York Knicks, Rangers and Islanders; the Buffalo Sabres; and New Jersey Devils. That’s all due to its failure to hit a deal with the MSG networks parent, Madison Square Garden Co. (NASDAQ:MSG)
