Sorenson Squeeze Encoding and Transcoding Engine Gives Avid Customers End-to-End, Best-in-Class Video Editing, Encoding, Management and Publishing Solution
SAN DIEGO, Nov 15, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Sorenson Media today announced that Sorenson Squeeze 8, the new version of the company's gold standard encoding and transcoding application, is now bundled across wider channels and with an expanded array of new Avid(R) 64-bit video editing systems, including Media Composer(R) version 6, NewsCutter(R) version 10 and Symphony(R) version 6.
This expanded distribution relationship is the latest development in an eight-year collaboration in which Avid has continually incorporated Sorenson Squeeze, the industry-leading encoding and transcoding application.
