A couple of years back I watched some folks panning for gold in a small creek that is very near to where SPAG's holdings are in Alabama. Saw them find a 1/4 oz. nugget and some flakes.
There is gold there, how much or the price per ounce to recover I can't say. I do know from reading local newspapers since gold prices have been up, there has been a lot more interest in gold mining in Alabama. I'm long in Spag and plan on visiting Al. property in near future. Will let all know what I see. GLTA
