That is NOT how it is done. There was an exhaustive explanation by an accountant on the CGS forum a week or so ago. Auditing cash is a LOT more than simply looking that the bank balance as that would prove nothing except that the cash was there at that second - not how it got there or how long it has been there. The actual process addresses all of those concerns as fully explained previously.
