Sunoco, Inc. (NYSE: SUN) announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Stacy L. Fox as Senior Vice President and General Counsel, effective March 1, 2010. Michael S. Kuritzkes, who has been serving as General Counsel since 2000, has elected to pursue other interests.

A seasoned corporate lawyer with more than 25 years experience in business, Ms. Fox, 56, joins Sunoco most recently from the Roxbury Group, a Detroit-based real estate development and legal consulting firm, where she was founder and principal. From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Fox served as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for Collins & Aikman Corporation, a leading supplier of automotive interior systems.
