Similar to what you posted, here is what I posted a few weeks ago regarding the short positions:
Quote:
"That is the only question that this board, including myself, have failed to present a logical explanation for. The best I could come up with (and its not much) was that it is/will be a signal.
-The short interest count has been virtually unchanged for many many months
-Nite (or other MMs/Broker Dealers) can cover these shares quickly BEFORE general population knows anything
-typical retail investors like myself only get short updates 2 times a month (see link below)
-MMs/Broker dealers would have instant access to any "covering" of the 40mil short and I believe
-Since MMs/Broker dealers are the only ones in possession of short positions, it is easy to delineate from the "retail" movement
If this theory is correct, then I expect covering will start like a landslide...and immediately after one Short Interest Report "Due Date". This would give them 15 days to cover.

All IMO. As I said...it isn't much.

Your "Cataclysmic Rush" is my "Landslide".
I feel better when I see my thoughts match others. Means I'm not totally insane OR that I am not alone in my insanity! LOL
