If anything, if the SA trial fails upon completion, it is more damaging than the Interim Analysis, not less. At least at this point, they could defend the tiny active sample size as to why efficacy is inconclusive (my guess on what's happening, at best).
That still does not answer the question: Why did MV agree to do an IA at the same time he mentioned a deal was imminent (in 30-45 days).
Give me a reasonable justification (i.e., something he could not have known at the time he said it) and perhaps we can move on. Otherwise, admit the monthly-mounting evidence of mngmnt's gross incompetence, and I will gladly end this discussion.
