Aria International Incorporated Begins Construction of Airship Hanger in Thailand

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aria International Incorporated, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Aria International Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB:ARAH - News, Aria - News), a company focused on providing specialized surveillance and communications solutions to a global customer base is pleased to announce today that it has begun construction of an airship hanger in Southern Thailand with NEO P.E.B CO., LTD., a company incorporated under the Laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, with registered offices at 324 Klongrean I Road, Hatyai, Hatyai Songkhla 90110.
The hanger will be the first structure of its kind built in Thailand and will support regular flight operations for the Aeros 40D Airship S/N A40D-21 (the “Airship”) recently delivered under contract by Aria to the Royal Thai Army (“RTA”). Construction is expected to be completed within 8-weeks.
The structure will also provide support for Aria personnel permanently stationed in Thailand who will conduct initial operations and provide continuing maintenance tasks as well as provide the training to RTA personnel under the Southern Border Surveillance program contract.
Aria is under contract to the RTA to provide in-country surveillance and communications solutions and services. The RTA agreed to purchase certain intelligence and surveillance equipment from Aria for a total purchase price of $9.7 million. The contract requires that Aria also provide the RTA with certain ancillary services, including the construction of an Airship hangar. The terms of the contract require complete delivery and integration of the surveillance system within 120-days of initial contract award.
The RTA system is composed of an Airship, imagery capability from high-definition cameras and down linked communication facilities to a mobile command platform that are targeted to meet the requirements for this special procurement. Under this contract, Aria is responsible for delivering a complete turn-key intelligence and surveillance solution. Aria will also install and integrate high-definition day/night camera systems on select Royal Thai Army helicopters.
