Artificial Life's CEO Speaks At Game Developers Conference
Thursday February 19, 7:00 am ET

LOS ANGELES and HONG KONG, Feb. 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CEO Eberhard Schoneburg of Artificial Life, Inc. (OTC BB:ALIF.OB - News) (http://www.artificial-life.com) will be delivering a 45-minute lecture about MoPA-TV, the company's innovative cross platform technology, at the Game Developers Conference Mobile 2009. The event will be held March 23-27, 2009, at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.

The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is one of the world's largest game industry events. Presented every spring in San Francisco, it is the essential forum for learning, inspiration, and networking for the creators of computer, console, mobile, and online games. The GDC usually attracts over 18,000 attendees, and is the primary forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals, business decision-makers and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas and shape the future of the industry.

GDC Mobile aims to bring together mobile game developers from around the world to share ideas and debate the future of this industry.

Mr. Schoneburg will be speaking on the topic of ``Cross Platform Gaming? It Exists!'' for the Original Innovation section from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, Room 134, North Hall.

MoPA-TV stands for ``Mobile Participation Television'' and is a format that allows TV viewers to appear in a live TV show as 3D avatars, and to participate and interact with the show in real time by using text messaging or by visiting a Web/WAP site from their mobile phones for real-time interaction. With MoPA-TV, mobile gaming is not just limited to the cell phone. Mr. Schoneburg will introduce this new technology at the conference in a case study sharing the story of its success, and highlighting the creative and technical process behind the creation and development of MoPA-TV. He will also hold an open discussion about the potential for creating new interactive mobile games that engage users in many ways across multiple mediums.

``GDC is definitely a great place to exchange industry ideas and experiences. I look forward to presenting our new interactive cross platform technology with the industry fellows and sharing my views on the future of mobile entertainment,'' said Eberhard Schoneburg, CEO of Artificial Life, Inc.
