Jules2, Cutler - a star OS architect - left DEC to head up Microsoft's NT development team in the late 80s.

If you are using an NT, 2000 or XP machine then you are using a Cutler OS.

He is the logical advocate for a decent 64-bit x86. It makes a lot of sense that AMD gave him an attentive ear before finalizing AMD64.

A processor finally developed with software developers as the design target. Imagine that!
