Lesson # 3 EguityFeed (microcapfeed)filter
Use of the top 400
The Top 400 will give you the top 400 stocks trading. Pending what sorting tool you decide to use. Here again the most powerful use of this is at the open bell. Later in the course of day sort by percent gain and watch around the 3 to 5 percent area this will pick up anything making a run in the course of the day. After a quick review of the top. you may want to uncheck the NASDAQ to be able to see the OTC:BB and pinks. The NASDQ seems to take over the very top in a top number of trade sort.
Use sort by trades and switch back and forth to sort by percent gain. The combo of the two will give you info on what stocks are first out the gate. Be sure to pay close attention to the news Colum off to the left. This sometimes will tell you just why the stock is moving.
In the course of a year you have around 20 stocks or better that break out as a front runner and you can clearly see it is running on nitro. Use your better judgment by reviewing the L2, The Quote Chart / Montage and look to see if the stock is coming off bottom or breaking off a ledge with a upward trend. Look for the next stop this would be a shelf of candles or the bottom or top of a long candle. The more candles in a row with the same tops or bottoms have the more resistance point to break through. Once you have determined why the stock is moving and you have some runway before the next stop. Place a buy to meet your need. Note notice previous volume for amount of entry determination. Now remember time is profits lost with a stock on the move. It will come to you in time and will adapt to what is a buy without even doing the check. But always want to do some DD if time allows you to and always go back and check if you made the buy before checking.
Learn to use all the sorting tools to see difference between others. Sort by percent lost to review stocks in advance to radar for a bottom or the next moving average it may stop or bounce off off.
