Mecachrome begins trading on TSX on when issued basis

The following trader note was released by TSX on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at 10:33 a.m. (Eastern Time).

Further to TSX bulletin 2007-1436 dated Oct. 11, 2007, the subordinate voting shares of the Mecachrome International Inc. have begun trading on an if, as and when issued basis at 11 a.m. (Eastern Time) today, Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, under the symbol MCH, and Cusip No. 58345L 10 5. A total of 14,687,500 subordinate voting shares are to be sold to the public at a price of $14 per share pursuant to a prospectus offering that is scheduled to close before the opening on Friday, Oct. 19, 2007. Subject to the closing of the prospectus offering occurring as scheduled on October 19, 2007:


All trades in MCH in the if, as and when issued market on Oct. 12 and 15, 2007, will be for special settlement on Oct. 19, 2007, and will appear on the settlement report from CDS;
All trades in MCH in the if, as and when issued market on Oct. 16, 17 and 18, 2007, will be for special settlement, three business days after the trade date and will appear on the settlement report from CDS.
