Split is just cosmetic. You get the same amount of value. The splits make the stock more affordable to many folks and allow for the potential of up listing to popular indexes.

That said, split news can rally a ticker. Tsla $2k seems possible pre split. One day Options contracts on a Friday will be a popular move tomorrow. Let’s see 1800 get broken.
