Micron likely to report another strong quarter, says Macquarie
Macquarie analyst Srini Pajjuri expects Micron to report another strong quarter and sees upside potential from continued DRAM tightness. He believes investor focus will be on NAND given recent concerns about easing supply. NAND ASPs appear on track for a 1H18 decline but expects demand/supply to return to a healthy balance in 2H18 driven by SSD adoption, Pajjuri wrote in a note to investors. The analyst said DRAM fundamentals are solid, structural margin improvements are on track, and valuation is compelling. Micron shares are Outperform rated with a $50 price target
