XON insider sales are only 1/10th of that at CVX and why Barron's is making it sound like a significant signal is unclear to me. Although oil execs have been pretty much a buy and hold crowd in the past (that's just a feeling I have through informal networks and no sales data to back that sentiment up) and content to clip the dividends and pass the shares into heirs and estates.
