Let's wonder. Is the Fibertower deal fine print contingent on the Time Warner merger being approved? Is the Verizon / Straight Path deal contingent on the Fibertower spectrum also having to be approved for AT&T? Is Pai's future tied up with keeping Trump happy?
Will Pai be able to go back to a comfortable industry job when he is no longer FCC Chairman?

Can we see gridlock, some wild creature frozen in it's tracks in the headlights of an out of control Dump Truck (or is that a Trump Duck)?

There is more to this than just what logic would do. So not sure what the clear answer will be, it will be more like a riot perhaps when all things break loose. Don't trust the government to get this all right, in fact.
