Any "fault" in this trade lies with the previous Marlin ownership who gave Stanton full control over his fate----Marlins had similar deals in place with both the Giants and Cards before the Yankees got involved---not the Yankees fault Stanton vetoed them--and if the Dodgers had stepped up to the table, we wouldn't be hearing about any Cashman-Jeter baloney...

it was also Cashman who told Jeter to take a hike several years ago and he couldn't hold Tulowitzki's jock..
