They don't have any money. We're stuck with what we have in house. We need a horse like DeGrom. If any trading was done I'd send away any combination of:
prospects Flores Smith Lugo Gsellman
for a full time quality first baseman with a high obp. Everybody hits homers now. If you can't afford to bring in stars you need players that can get on base for the stars you do have. Would help if he was speedy but I'll take anybody on base in front of Conforto/Cespedes in the bottom of the first. And players can improve. Conforto was just a prospect 2 years ago.
