Yeah that was some ugly analysis. Ironically LE just posted big time profits. This was actually a fairly encouraging quarter for the retail sector. Obviously still appears eventually amazon and Walmart will own the entire sector but maybe there is still room for now. The statement of the Seritage asset sale was that they weren’t necessarily skimming all the Best properties, who knows how true or false that is. Certainly must have been some decent ones for a $2.3B deal for 235 properties IIRC
