I feel your lament when you speak to losing out on things after selling.

There's two things I routinely do when preparing to liquidate, both of which I know you're aware of. Yet maybe seeing a friend up against the same situation might be of help:

1. No matter how convinced I am that doomsday is fast approaching, I limit myself to selling half of the position (s). This way I'm only half a fool despite the obvious fact that I'll soon be ruing the day I sold. lol

2. The other thing I do is remind myself that I'm only human. Even God needed a rest on the seventh day so who am I to think I can cover my bases? Limiting my sale---initially--- saved my butt with ALDW and with 10,120 units in the pocket, I'm having a fine ride, still. You had one as well so we both get to rejoice in our gains.

My search into the acquiring company Delek brought me to see unusual opportunity in DK and I took ALDW gains and reapplied them accordingly so as to capitalize on immediate-term potential I found. I also redeployed some funds by opening a DKL position that also rewards.

The main thing for me is that I needed to curb my all-or-nothing stance as it was hurting me, longer term. However, I fully realize this may not be of help to you as you may have taken your profits and put them to work even more profitably elsewhere. I hope this is the case.

Meanwhile, you're not hurting, so you're foraging is spot on.
Keep up the good work and remember the 7th day...

Yours,

Lord Jugs
