iTeknik Holding Corporation in Merger Talks with International PR Firm, Transmedia Group
West Palm Beach, FL, Oct. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- iTeknik Holding Corporation (OTC PINK:ITKH) announced today that is has been in acquisition/merger discussions with TransMedia, LLC., headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida. iTeknik also announced that it had engaged TransMedia to conduct a public relations project in order to increase the awareness of iTeknik in the investor community.

Fred Wicks, Chairman and CEO of iTeknik stated, “TransMedia is truly an international firm that has conducted media campaigns around the world. We are very impressed with CEO Tom Madden’s team. I believe that TransMedia would be a major complement to the advertising, marketing and digital media products we now provide clients.”

Tom Madden, CEO, founded TransMedia Group in New York City soon after he left NBC, where he was Vice President, Assistant to the President, then Fred Silverman, for whom he worked previously at American Broadcasting Companies. Among TransMedia’s first clients were AT&T, Kellogg’s, Drexel Burnham Lambert and the City of New York. TransMedia created award-winning PR campaigns for New York, one promoting fair housing in the city. This project earned TransMedia a coveted Bronze Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America. In 1987, Madden relocated the firm to South Florida where today it operates in downtown Boca Raton.
