Well, it's an "annual pattern" that didn't occur in 2014, or 2015, and shows no signs of appearing so far this year. In other words, if the "annual pattern" is not manifesting in 3 out of the 5 years, does it really exist? It's hard to have an opinion about something imaginary. As far as the winter heating seasons have been, they have been dismal in terms of gas consumption as the globe gets warmer. I wouldn't expect too much. Winter happens every year, anyways, and the chances it will be colder than normal are slim.


Winter 2016-2017 (December-February) was record warm and relatively dry across our region along with hardly any snowfall.
